Create your own tailored walking tour. Imagine starting the day with the crushing of the waves on the shore and finishing with a breath of fresh air in the mountains. Your day can take you from rolling hills to stunning sea views and peaceful woods. Choose two walks among the guided walks on offer and we will organize your day including all the transfers with a mix of private and public transport. If you prefer, we can also organise private transport. Please, be aware that combining some of the walks may not be possible.

Cliff Walk, coastal walk & Glendalough, Wicklow Mountains

Morning: Cliff Walk, coastal walk (2 hours; easy)

As we travel with the train to Greystones, we enjoy stunning views over the sea and the coast. The Cliff Walk which links Greystones to the seaside town of Bray goes up through lush meadows but as it starts going down toward Bray, the landscape changes dramatically.  The trail was carved out of the steep slopes of Bray Head and as it overlooks the sea and the railway line, there magnificent views over the coast.

Afternoon: Glendalough & Monastic Site, Wicklow Mountains  (2 hours; easy)

We travel by bus to Glendalough. This valley lies at the heart of Wicklow Mountains National Park and it is well-known for its magnificent landscapes and its two lakes. It is also home to a once famous monastery and its round tower. After the guided tour of the ruins of the monastic site, we start on our walk around the valley and its two lakes.

Killiney Hill Park, coastal walk & Giant’s Grave, Dublin Mountains

Morning: Killiney Hill Park, coastal walk (2 hours; easy)

As we travel with the train to the start of the walk, we can enjoy stunning views over the sea and the coast. The walk takes us through the mature woodlands of Killiney Hill Park and to the tops of the two hills overlooking the sea and the mountains. On the way back, we pass by a picturesque harbour with pretty views over Dalkey Island.

Giant’s Grave, Dublin Mountains (2 hours; easy)

From Killiney Hill Park, we travel by taxi to the start of the walk.  We soon reach a small where we can see the imposing ruins of the Giant’s Grave built some 4000 years ago.  Walking on, we soon reach Three Rock Mountain from where magnificent views open up over Dublin City and its bay.  The walk ends in a picturesque village at the foot of the mountains from where we travel back to Dublin.

Morning: Ballycorus Chimney, Dublin Mountains (2 hours; easy)

The train takes us along the beautiful coastline tot eh start of the walk. The trail meanders up through the forest to a plateau overlooking the coast, the countryside and the mountains.  A tall chimney, known locally as Ballycorus Chimney was built there as part of a smelting plant.  After enjoying the stunning views, we start our walk back to the village.

Afternoon:  Fairy Castle, Dublin Mountains (3 hours; moderate)

A taxi brings us to the start of the walk.  The trail leads to a small clearing where we can look at the ruins of the Giant’s Grave, built some 4000 years ago.  The path leading to Fairy Castle follows the edge of the forest and we can already enjoy magnificent perspectives over the over the countryside and the mountains.  Ffter reaching the top, we walk down to Three Rock Mountain from where we can enjoy stunning views over Dublin and its bay.
